Studies of travel writing, and of literary works that engage more generally with questions of travel, have developed rapidly over the past decade to encompass some of the most exciting recent new scholarship in a variety of disciplines. Anthem Travel Studies aims to publish pioneering work in this growing field. Monographs and collections of essays will focus on a broad range of geographical zones and historical contexts. All critical approaches are welcome, although a key feature of books published in the series will be their potential interest to a wide and varied readership, as well as their exploration of new dimensions of the area (including studies of travel writing in languages other than English). For proposal forms or suggestions of titles, please contact Charles Forsdick.
